I obviously have my political disagreements with Michael Kiernan.  I just read the news that yesterday he resigned his position as chairman of the Iowa Democratic Party because of a tumor found under his right ear that requires surgery.

I was saddened to hear that news.

Politics need to get put aside, and I want to encourage all of you to pray with me for Michael Kiernan and entrust him to our Great Physician.

Pray for a speedy recovery, pray for peace for Michael and his wife Erin (who is a news anchor at WHO-TV) and that they receive the confirmation they hope to hear that it isn’t malignant.
