Our official press release for the final day:

Day 10 of the “Roberts for Lt. Governor” campaign – The short, whirlwind campaign to get Representative Rod Roberts on the ticket as Lt Governor ends, and now the convention is about to begin. The future of the Republican Party in Iowa rests with Governor Branstad’s decision for running mate.

June 22, 2010 – Wednesday marks the end of a very short and very intense whirlwind campaign to get State Representative Rod Roberts on the ticket as Lt. Governor. Governor Terry Branstad will now be presented with the results of their efforts. The results include a list of signatories to the online petition and a list of Republican Party leaders willing to go public with their support for Representative Roberts in this effort. The presentation will take place at 12:00 noon Wednesday, June 23rd at the following location

Governor Branstad 2010 Committee Headquarters
