NASA Administrator Charles Bolden’s Muslim Outreach program is evidently in jeopardy.  The White House said that President Obama never told Bolden to do that:

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that such activities are not among Bolden’s assigned tasks. He said administration officials have spoken with NASA about the matter.

I can imagine the conversation that took place… “hey why’d you have to blab your mouth about that program!  That was on the down low.”  Seriously we have two sides to this story.  What would Bolden have gained by making this up?  He had a lot to lose (at the very least public embarrassment like he is now facing) if he was.  Now what would the Administration gain by denying it?
