The first 2012 commercial is for somebody who has said she has no intention of running.  She’s also the current President’s Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

A Chicago dentist, William DeJean who evidently has too much money to spend is paying for the commercial to run in New Orleans, Washington, Los Angeles, New York and possibly Houston.  It’s strange to be running an ad before the 2010 midterms… it’s even stranger to run it for a person who has unequivocally said no to running as CNN reports:

Since becoming secretary of state in the Obama administration, Clinton has squashed any talk of her either challenging Obama in 2012 or making another bid for the White House down the road.

In an interview with NBC last October, Clinton said "no" three times to the question "will you ever run for president again?"

At town hall in Saudi Arabia in February, Clinton said "I am very proud to support Barack Obama and I will continue to support Barack Obama."

She’s said no, but you know she really wants to.  As Secretary of State how are you supposed to answer a question like that anyway?  “Yes I want to primary my boss.”… Awkward.

But she’s thinking it.  He hasn’t been very good with those 3:00a phone calls.

Oh goody we get to look forward to more than two years of this. I bet you are excited, I know I am.
