image Iowans are voting without ever having seen the candidates for Iowa Attorney General debate each other and challenger, Brenna Findley, believes that Iowans have the right to hear from their candidates.  Early voting started on September 23rd.

"I have challenged the incumbent AG to three debates, but  so far he has not scheduled  any debates." said Findley. "Iowans deserve better."

"I have been campaigning in all 99 counties and find that many Iowans have never met their Attorney General. I have been working hard, listening to the people while he remains holed up in the Hoover government building in Des Moines.  He was elected in 1978 and has become out of touch with Iowans. Concerned voters have questions for him and they demand and deserve answers."

Brenna Findley has consistently expressed her willingness to participate in three debates to be held throughout the state. She hopes that they can take place soon and in communities covered by multiple media sources so that the debates can be shared with as many people as possible.

Currently, the two candidates are scheduled to appear together on IPTV in October in a non-debate format. While Findley hopes voters will watch the program, it cannot substitute for the question and answer format of a debate.

"Time is running out with only 34 days until Election Day and the three debates have not been scheduled. It is time for my opponent to stop stone-walling and start answering questions from Iowans."
