Charlie has been married to Julie for more than 20 years; is dad to two boys: Ethan and Zion. He serves as a minister of Teaching/Preaching at Refuge Long Beach. Before re-launching Refuge in Oct of 2011, Charlie was the Assistant Pastor at Olive Branch Calvary Chapel in La Mirada, CA for 6 years after serving in various ministry roles in 12 years at Calvary Chapel Downey. He has led numerous international mission trips to Russia, South America, and the Caribbean, and taught 2 semesters at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Torrance, CA. Charlie is a graduate of Biola University and pursuing a Masters of Theology form Liberty Seminary in Lynchburg VA. He loves theology, preaching the Word of God, wakeboarding and vacationing with the family. He is passionate about writing, blogs at impactedbygrace.com and has a day job as an aerospace engineering manager.
