Douglas Gebbie was educated at Glasgow College of Technology and the Free Church of Scotland College, Edinburgh. He has served conservative Presbyterian congregations in Scotland, the United States of America, and Canada. Beyond the work of the ministry, his interests include historical theology, Presbyterian principles, hunting, fly fishing, and reading golden age British detective fiction. Currently, he lives with his wife and two children in South Western Ontario, where he aspires to the genteel poverty of the rural manse.
