Reynolds Signs Bill Enhancing Iowa’s Newborn Safe Haven Law

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds signed seven bills on Thursday, one of which was SF 360 which expands and enhances Iowa’s newborn “safe haven” law originally enacted in 2002.

The Iowa House and Iowa Senate passed HF 2386 which allows the court to terminate the parental rights of a person who perpetuated sexual abuse.
