Danny Carroll, the board chairman of Iowa Family Policy Center, announced the new name the Family Leader which is now the parent organization of Iowa Family Policy Center, Marriage Matters, and Iowa Family PAC. They named it the family leader because God should be the leader of all families. Their mission statement is:
A consistent, courageous voice in the churches, in the legislature, in the media, in the courtroom, in the public square… always standing for God’s truth.
Bob Vander Plaats is now the President and CEO for this new organization, and his bio in the press packet for some strange reason neglects to mention his 2010 gubernatorial run.
