A lot of possible ticket domain names are still open, but this one isn’t. Interesting.
Solidly pro-life (a belief put into practice when her unborn child was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome), and seems to be a solid conservative.
What do you think about Alaska Governor Sarah Palin being McCain’s running mate?

NBC reported this evening that Joe Lieberman is at the top of McCain’s short list.. they have to be joking.

I heard that as well, the RNC said that there wouldn’t be a pro-choice nominee – http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/08/19/rnc-mccain-wont-choose-abortion-supporting-running-mate/
Lieberman probably couldn’t even get on the ballot in several states due to party affiliation. If he put Lieberman on the ticket – he’s sunk. That would be a colossal mistake.
I think any moderate VP would sink him. Any ground he made up with Conservatives at the recent forum would be wasted instantly.
Personally, I think Palin would be a great choice. She doesn’t have great name recognition, but might that be a plus in this election?

Nephos, I’m with you. My only concern with Palin is that she hasn’t been in office that long.
Moderate or not, I think Palin wouldn’t sink him… he would just remain afloat among all the ballyhoo who Obama chooses this week. She’s not a “name” and in this election, God knows that dude needs sex appeal.
Who do you think he should pick?
I think she would be an excellent choice. I know there has been buzz about Lieberman, but I’m pretty sure it’s just buzz…I cannot imagine that being a reality.
Does everyone think that Romney is out? Palin pales next to Romney.. or Huckabee for that matter.

Hey Bob,
Regarding Romney… I hope not. I would be surprised considering the venom between him and McCain during the primaries.
He seemed to become conservative when it suited him, so I trust him about as far as I can throw him.
I would love to see Huckabee be his VP pick, but I don’t think it will happen. Huckabee said himself that he hasn’t been contacted.
