Yes.  I’m tired of the shenanigans that I have seen in the Iowa General Assembly.  I’ve been asked whether or not I would ever consider running, and I have decided that the people of Iowa House District 67 needs somebody who will truly represent their best interests.  We need somebody who will fight to:

  • Demand fiscal responsibility and transparency in the Statehouse.
  • Small Government
  • Better education for our kids
  • Lower taxes to encourage small business and job creation in Iowa.
  • to uphold the sanctity of life
  • Protect traditional marriage

You can watch a video of my announcement here.

Update: My conscience is bearing witness against me.  I have noticed that only about half of the people who viewed this post checked out the video announcement, which if watching it you’ll realize you’ve been rickrolled.  Some people still didn’t get it yet, and I had to explain it which then the fun is lost (like with my Mom, whose first e-mail back to me was, “are you crazy?”)

Wickle, it’s okay buddy.  I suckered my brother as well.

Anyway it is two days past, and want to make sure that everybody is aware that I am not really running for the Iowa House.
