CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta interviews former President Bill Clinton. I am not entirely clear why he is interviewing him on this topic.
What the heck is he talking about? Does he even know? He doesn’t seem to even have a clue on the topic. It was embarrassing to watch.

Seems to me he's trying to say the only way stem cell research won't be controversial is if there are assurances that there will be no human cloning and no use of embryos. If that's what he meant, he really doesn't understand the topic (how can you have embryonic stem cell research without using embryos?) and shouldn't be discussing it.
Of course, that's never stopped a politician.
He also doesn't seem to understand that you can't have an embryo if it isn't fertilized either.
You are so right about not stopping politicians.
It's obvious Clinton doesn't know what he's talking about. Yet he, too, issued an executive order in support of the research when he was President. It seems like a total dereliction of duty for him not to have thoroughly researched the topic before making a life and death decision. Shame on him and shame on President Obama.
Speaking of Bill Clinton:
It is opined that Bill Clinton committed racist hate crimes, and I am not free to say anything further about it.
