CNSNews.com reported that Georgetown University covered over the Name of Jesus to comply with a White House request for the speech that President Obama gave there on Tuesday.

Georgetown University says it covered over the monogram “IHS”–symbolizing the name of Jesus Christ—because it was inscribed on a pediment on the stage where President Obama spoke at the university on Tuesday and the White House had asked Georgetown to cover up all signs and symbols there.

Also I didn’t mention it yesterday when he brought up the Sermon on the Mount, he didn’t bring up Jesus either.

So what say you… should the White House have asked them to “cover up”?  Is that appropriate to do?  He was after all their guest.
