I almost feel bad for him.  Almost.  In truth, I thought it was hilarious.  I’ll say I wouldn’t want to be on one of those shows.  I’d be afraid I’d freeze up.  Which in charity I’ll say likely happened with Mr. Blitzer.  Here’s a video compilation.

Ouch.  Good for whatever charity that Andy Richter was representing though.

Hat-tip goes to Steve even though I didn’t use the same video he had.  I wouldn’t have known about this otherwise and missed being thoroughly entertained.

  1. I have to say … there once was a time I really wanted to be on “Jeopardy!” Then it occurred to me that’s it’s probably very easy to play in the living room, on the couch, with just my mother and me in the room (some of our great bonding times when I was in high school … 7:30 almost every weeknight). It would be a lot more challenging for real.

It does make for an amusing video, though …

I was out of the country on business last week and not really plugged in to all the goings on (and the hotel we were staying at was really nice-but had very slow internet). When I got home and settled in, this was one of the first things I ran across and it cracked me up!

    Thanks for the link!

  3. I have often thought that the pressure and competition would ruin any talent I might have for a game show. And I think the talent would be sort of slight anyway!
