image We’re working to see Representative Rod Roberts added to the Governor Terry Branstad ticket in order to become Iowa’s next Lt. Governor.  I received an email from Jeff Jorgensen who is heading this grassroots effort up.  He said he was able to meet with Governor Branstad for about 10 minutes yesterday in Council Bluffs, and the Governor was receptive to what he had to say.  He reminded Governor Branstad that “this year it wasn’t going to be an election where Eastern Iowa vs Western Iowa–it was going to be an election where conservative Iowans stand up against the liberal agenda.”

He also has more people on board this effort, and the Republican candidate for Attorney General, Brenna Findley while not endorsing any one particular candidate is willing to go on record to say Representative Roberts “would make a fantastic Lt. Governor.”
