image Even though Governor Schwarzennegger wanted homosexuals to begin marrying right after Federal District court Judge Vaughn Walker declared California’s Constitutional amendment defining marriage to be between a man and a woman unconstitutional.  Yesterday a  panel of three judges in the 9th Circuit Court said no licenses can be issued to homosexuals while the decision is being appealed.

Judge Walker ordered marriage licenses to be issued starting Wednesday, but that was put on hold.  The 9th Circuit Court also agreed to expedite hearing this case.  Wow, they placed a stay on Walker’s order.  I expected the appeals process to be drug out and that they would reject the motion for a stay.  Color me surprised.
