It is better to for people to think you are a fool and have them be wrong than to open your mouth and prove them right.  I think this applies to Meghan McCain’s late night NBC adventure.

In a *riveting* interview with Jay Leno about her new book, Dirty Sexy Politics, Meghan McCain revealed that she “almost overdosed on Xanax” and other fascinating tidbits like her influence of her father, Senator John McCain’s TV viewing.  At least she doesn’t influence his policy positions… or maybe she does, that would explain a lot.

She also says she cried all the way to the rally after hearing Sarah Palin was her dad’s running mate.  Tears of joy or perhaps tears of frustration since she admits to being clueless as to who the Governor of Alaska was.

Well I can relate, I want to cry every time Miss McCain opens her mouth.  You can cry with me and watch the full interview for yourself below.

At least we can rest in the knowledge that she at least realizes that President Obama isn’t doing a good job.  Oh please don’t let her be the future of the Republican Party.
