An odd bit of news, the Catholic Church has approved a new iPhone and iPad application called Confession: A Roman Catholic App. This app is not designed to replace going to confession.
With YouVersion, Bible Gateway, and other digital experiences available to believers including church services online (not to mention the countless podcasts available)…. I want to throw this out there – does this help or hinder?
On one hand I see the benefit of these tools (I use YouVersion), but on the other hand does this contribute to our being disconnected from the Body of Christ?
