Congressman Steve King (R-IA) spoke at 2012 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) yesterday in Washington, D.C.  King’s speech focused on the growth of the government’s reach into Americans’ everyday lives.

Money quote: “I want my liberty back!  How did a nation born of freedom and liberty lose its freedom and liberty? How does a nation that’s blessed by an extraordinary supply of American Exceptionalism submit, inch by creeping inch, to the totalitarian state that’s descending upon us?”
