Bob Quast.  Have you heard of him?  I haven’t either.  He is a Davenport businessman who failed to get enough signatures to file as a candidate in Iowa’s U.S. Senate Democrat primary on June 3rd.  He released a web ad to push his write-in campaign for the Democrat U.S. Senate primary on June 3rd.

It’s a unique ad to say the least, and he hits Congressman Bruce Braley (D-IA) on the 2nd Amendment, term limits, and “BraleyCare.”  He’s a self-described fiscal conservative which I’m *sure* will win a lot of votes in the Democrat primary.

I thought an ad dealing with hog castration was about as edgy of an ad we were going to see this cycle.  I guess I was wrong.
