Shane listens intently as State Auditor Mary Mosiman is our guest in studio.

Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers talk with State Auditor Mary Mosiman about her campaign, her work, and her review of Iowa’s state budget.  The guys also discuss how Texas Governor Rick Perry’s recent indictment could be a launching pad for a 2016 presidential campaign.

A mother drowns her two newborns to save money on abortion.  A post-birth abortion?  How not respecting the life of the unborn carries over to the born.  Plus atheist Richard Dawkins said it would be “immoral” to not abort a preborn baby diagnosed with Downs Syndrome.

Vicki Beeching (who?), a Christian worship artist, comes out of the closet and says God loves her just the way she is.

  1. Richard Dawkins apologized rather quickly on that downs syndrome statement after getting bad press from almost everybody. Atheist groups were very quick to denounce Dawkins. The problem is Republicans today don’t condemn those within the party when they say stupid stuff.

I admit I didn’t know who Vicki Beeching was, but then I don’t follow Christian music. She is very pretty and very talented and she has definitely ruffled a few feathers in the religious right. Just for the record, I really like gospel music, especially what Elvis did.

Also, murder is murder. I know of no one, either pro-life or pro-choice, who would see what that lady did to her children as justified. Killing children, no matter who commands it or when in history it was commanded, is immoral. Abortion is legal because the majority of people do not believe life begins at conception. The current law bases it on viability, which has increased greatly due to medical breakthroughs.

I saw a recent news story that illegal abortion pills are making there way into this country because abortion facilities are closing down so they are turning to other options. With no regulation, they predict this will cause more 2nd and 3rd trimester abortions. Sad.

Perhaps you or your readers could comment on the recent events with Kent Brantly. I can only imagine there were quite a few people involved in saving his life yet he gave almost all the credit to God. Now, couldn’t God have just prevented the disease in the first place and what about all those others who have died from ebola? Why didn’t God save them?
