We hear a lot about progress these days and unfortunately when it entails one’s worldview or in the realm of politics.  That progress is something our society can ill afford. C.S. Lewis once said, “We all want progress, but if you’re on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.”  Our society is on the wrong road.  Culturally we need to do an about-turn.  Fiscally we need to do an about-turn.  Progress should not lead to destruction rather it should be something that is positive for the common good.  Typically what is touted as progress is anything but.
