On Caffeinated Thoughts Radio this week Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers talk to William Jacobson,  founder of Legal Insurrection and a Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Securities Law Clinic at Cornell Law School in Ithaca, NY, about the anti-Israel resolution passed by the U.N. Security Council that the Obama administration failed to veto.

Then Rev. Michael Ives, Pastor of the Presbyterian Reformed Church of Rhode Island, joins us. Ives is currently working on his PhD at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and studying the life and ministry of 18th century Scottish theologian Thomas Chalmers. We discuss Chalmers’ view of how poverty should be addressed and what implications that should have on the Church today.

Plus President Obama orders 35 Russian diplomats home and two facilities closed in response to what he claims was Russia’s attempt to influence the 2016 presidential election. CNN reports that Russia closed the Anglo-American School in response, but the Russian foreign ministry denies that. Russian President Vladimir Putin has states that his nation won’t respond in kind and they will act based on what President-elect Donald Trump’s policies toward Russia when he is sworn into office.

Also a new polls shows that a majority of Democrats believe that Russia not only hacked into the Democratic National Committee, but that they somehow tampered with the vote tallies in the presidential election even though there is no evidence that shows that.

Then what happened to people like Michael Wear in the Democratic Party?
