From left: Brian Myers, Vince Gebhart, and Joel Kurtinitis

This week on Caffeinated Thoughts Radio, Vince Gebhart, an old friend of Brian Myers, joined Brian in the studio and Joel Kurtinitis filled in for Shane Vander Hart who was on a college visit with his youngest daughter Lily.

Brian, Vince, and Joel discussed a recent op/ed, “Looking for the Real Bastards in South Sudan,” in Breitbart News with the author, Faith McDonnell who is the Director of Religious Liberty Programs and the Church Alliance for a New Sudan, at the Institute on Religion & Democracy.

Dr. Calvin Beisner, founder and national spokesman for the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, joined the program. Beisner recently keynoted a series of forums in Illinois hosted by the Illinois Family Institute called Climate Change and the Christian. Climate Change advocates protested his speech in Rockford, IL because he doesn’t toe the progressive line about Climate Change.

Plus, the U.S. Department of Justice under the Trump Administration has not dropped their lawsuit against the Little Sisters of the Poor for their refusal to include contraceptives in their health insurance coverage. Also, DNC Chair Tom Perez said his party would only support candidates who back abortion rights for women.

Then, a transgender Baptist pastor spoke to the Alliance of Baptists. Say what?

Brian, Vince, and Joel also discuss Trump’s tax reform plan and his softening position on NAFTA.
