This week on Caffeinated Thoughts Radio, Chris Jacobs, who is the founder of the Juniper Research Group and Senior Healthcare Policy Analyst with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, joins us to discuss the Senate’s healthcare reform bill.

Then Shane and Chris Rohloff, who is filling in for Ron Carlson, discuss the Supreme Court’s decision in Trinity Lutheran Church of Columbia v. Corner and how it impacts religious liberty. They decided for next term they will hear Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. A case that could determine whether or not LGBT rights trump the religious conscience rights of wedding service providers who do not want to serve same-sex wedding ceremonies.

Plus, the Iowa Supreme Court effectively banned weapons from all county courthouses and justice centers. This supervisory ruling is in conflict with a new law that goes into effect today. Also, some counties are pushing back against the order.

We, of course, end the show with the top Trump tweet of the week.
