Brian and Shane talk to the Benham Brothers.

We recorded this week’s Caffeinated Thoughts Radio at the Family Leadership Summit held last weekend in Des Moines. During the first segment, Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers talk to Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett who is challenging Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds in the 2018 Iowa Republican Primary. He discusses why he is running for Governor and what his plans are if he wins.

Then the guys are joined by Jason and David Benham for the second segment.  The Benham Brothers were keynote speakers at the Family Leadership Summit. The Benham Brothers were going to be hosts of a new show on HGTV until LGBT activists pressured the network into dropping their show because they had been vocal supporters of traditional marriage in North Carolina.

During the 3rd segment, Mark Rader who is the National Director of Student Recruitment with Summit Ministries discussed camps they run during the summer and how their worldview training benefits teenagers and young adults.
