This week on Caffeinated Thoughts Radio, Shane Vander Hart spoke with Jake Porter who is, currently, the only Libertarian running for Governor of Iowa. Porter shares what a Libertarian governor would mean for the state and how he would address Iowa’s fiscal challenges.

Then, Dr. Christopher Peters called in to discuss his 2nd bid to try to unseat Congressman Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa) in Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District. He is currently the only Republican in the field. Shane and Dr. Peters discuss the failed attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare in depth.

Then Shane looks at why the Senate could not pass even a “skinny” repeal of Obamacare (whatever that means). Also, the White House appears to be in disarray. Will Attorney General Jeff Sessions stay or go? Also, who is this new White House Communications Director?

Also we look at what President Trump said about transgender American in the military.
