On Caffeinated Thoughts Radio this week Shane Vander Hart during our first segment talked to Roger Gannam, the Assistant Vice President of Legal Affairs for Liberty Counsel, about transgendered persons in the military. The discussed former President Barack Obama’s policy, why it should be reversed, and what President Donald Trump will need to do put a reversal of that policy into effect.

During the second segment, Shane spoke with Bruce Klingner, a Senior Research Fellow for Northeast Asia at the Heritage Foundation. Prior to Heritage, Klingner spent 20 years with the CIA and DIA including service as the Deputy Division Chief for North Korea at the CIA. Klingner shares his thoughts about North Korea’s nuclear program, their recent threat against Guam, and how close the United States may be to military action.

During the third segment, Shane, and our producer Ron Carlson discusses a recent poll showing that over half of Republicans would support postponing the 2020 election over voter fraud concerns. Also, the state of Iowa is being sued again for a workplace “fraught with harassment” at the Iowa Department of Revenue. This follows a former Senate Republican staffer successfully suing the state of Iowa and the Senate Republican caucus for wrongful termination after the former communications director submitted a sexual harassment claim.

We end the show, as always, with our top Trump tweet of the week.
