On Monday morning, Iowa House Republicans elected Assistant Leaders in advance of the 88th Iowa General Assembly.  The newly elected Assistant Leaders are:

  • State Representative Jacob Bossman (R-Sioux City)
  • State Representative Dan Huseman (R-Aurelia)
  • State Representative Mike Sexton (R-Rockwell City)
  • State Representative Louie Zumbach (R-Coggon)

These Representatives will join the leadership team headed by Speaker Linda Upmeyer (R-Clear Lake) and Majority Leader Chris Hagenow (R-Urbandale), as well as Speaker Pro Tem Matt Windschitl (R-Missouri Valley) and Majority Whip John Wills (R-Spirit Lake).

The 2019 legislative session begins Monday, January 14.
