Taylor is currently a Woodbury County Supervisor who recently won a second term. Prior to that, he served one term in the Iowa House representing Iowa House District 13. He serves as an energy specialist for the Sioux City Schools and as a Chaplain for the Iowa Army National Guard. He and his wife Kim are parents to six children.
