Steve Sherman (a Caffeinated Thoughts contributor) had his Facebook account disabled today. Why? Because he uploaded an iconic photo of the 9-11-01 attack on the Twin Towers in New York City as his header image.

Friday is the 19th anniversary of the terror attacks against the United States that killed 2977 people.

This is the picture Steve shared which, he says, did not include a written message.

This is the message, Facebook sent Steve.

Facebook polices its social network with an algorithm that identifies content that potentially violates their community standards. Users can request a review which Steve has done.

Obviously, Facebook needs to work on its algorithm.
