It’s too bad that the voters in New York’s 15th Congressional District didn’t take the opportunity earlier this month to fire Congressman Charlie Rangel.  That’s typically what happens when we violate the rules at work.  Now Congressman Rangel has been found guilty of 11 counts of breaking House rules by a House ethics panel.

Now his “fate” will be determined by the full House Ethics Committee and they have several options as WashPo reports, “Possible punishments include a House vote deploring Rangel’s conduct, a fine and denial of privileges.”  Ooooohhh… he’s so lucky that this will be decided by Democrat majority rather than a Republican one.  I mean if Republicans decided he’d probably lose access to the Congresssional health club.

Since he walked out the hearing yesterday maybe they’ll give him the crappy office next session.

That’ll teach him.
