The pictures below showing an off camera confrontation between Texas Governor Rick Perry and Texas Congressman Ron Paul during a break in last night’s debate have been making the rounds this morning:

The Washington Times reports on this, as does Mediaite, but you hardly get any details.  It looks like the former Ambassador Jon Huntsman came over to help foster some diplomacy.  Anyway, one thing is for sure, there’s no love lost between the two.  While I wouldn’t call what Governor Perry did last night “assault” as some Ron Paul supporters are saying.  Governor Perry certainly looked angry and should have kept a respectful distance, but we don’t really know what went on for certain.
