473px-Ron_Johnson,_official_portrait,_112th_Congress(Cedar Rapids, IA)  Americans for Prosperity’s Iowa chapter is continuing 99 county, Big Government Braley tour next week with special guest Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson. Senator Johnson will participate in townhall events in Johnston, Cedar Rapids, and Dubuque.

See list of upcoming townhalls with Senator Johnson below.

“We are honored and excited to have Senator Johnson join the next leg of the Big Government Braley tour,” said Mark Lucas, Iowa state director of Americans for Prosperity. “Senator Johnson is a tea party favorite who has taken a hard stance against the big government spending Congressman Braley supports.”

“As Washington power and appetite for more spending and debt has grown, our freedom and economic security have receded,” explains Senator Johnson. “Congressman Braley has been an enthusiastic proponent of bigger government in Washington.  That recipe for economic disaster has had a negative impact on every American. Iowans need to contact Representative Braley and urge him to stop standing in the way of lower taxes, smaller government, and greater economic freedom.”

“Senator Johnson is a conservative who spent 31 years building a manufacturing business and creating good American jobs in Wisconsin. Senator Johnson is the only manufacturer in the US Senate,” Lucas continued.
