(Des Moines, IA) Republican Party of Iowa Chairman A.J. Spiker today issued the call for a special nominating convention for House District 33. The Special Nominating Convention will be used to select a nominee of the Republican Party of Iowa to run in the Special Election for Iowa House District 33 that occurs on October 22, 2013.

The details of the special nominating convention are as follows:

Des Moines, IA 50309

The convention will be called to order by Republican Party of Iowa State Central Committee member Gopal Krishna who will serve as convention Chairman. Republican Party of Iowa House Majority Fund Director Lauren Page will serve as convention Secretary.

Delegates to the Special Nominating Convention will receive the Chairman’s call via U.S. mail.
