Iowa House
(Red Oak, IA) State Senator Joni Ernst, Republican candidate for United States Senate, continues to gain momentum and statewide support, and is pleased to announce the official endorsement of Representative Dean Fisher (District 72).

Representative Fisher, in announcing his endorsement of Ernst, stated, “I am endorsing Joni Ernst for the United States Senate because I am confident that she will be a strong conservative voice for Iowa in Washington.  Joni’s resume is filled with accomplishments.  Her rank as a Lt. Colonel in the National Guard demonstrates that she has the experience and leadership skills that will serve Iowa well in the U.S. Senate.  Joni has demonstrated in the Iowa Senate that she will stay true to her conservative values.  We need someone with courage and strong conservative values in Washington now more than ever, and Joni Ernst is that person.”

In response, Ernst stated, “It is truly an honor to have the endorsement of Representative Dean Fisher.  Representative Fisher is a dedicated and valued leader in the state legislature who is devoted to the concerns of his constituents.  It is a privilege to have him on my team and I look forward to campaigning in eastern Iowa with him.”

Fisher represents the 72nd district, which includes all of Tama county and portions of Marshall and Black Hawk counties.  Dean is a fifth generation Iowa farmer and is proud to own a Heritage Farm that has been in his family since 1852.  Dean spent 25 years in the electronics industry as an engineer, engineering manager and a business manager in the design and manufacture of micro-processor based real-time control systems. In the last 18 years of his career, Dean worked for Motorola in their automotive electronics business, managing the P&L for a $50 million portfolio of products supplied to North American automotive companies.
