Anymore during any type of awards shows if there are political statements made it usually involves conservative bashing or the promotion of some liberal cause.
But country music is just a tad different. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood who hosted the 47th Annual CMA Awards did a spoof of a George Strait’s song “Amarillo By Morning” that they entitled “Obamacare by Morning.”
I love country music! I also loved how they made fun of “twerking.” As Todd Starnes mentioned last night, “MTV artists twerk — CMA artists thank the Lord.”
