Today, the Senate Conservatives Fund released their endorsement of congressional candidate, Matt Schultz, for their House Conservatives Project.  This endorsement comes on the heels of Schultz’s endorsement by the conservative group, FreedomWorks, and by former U.S. Senator and presidential candidate, Rick Santorum.

Senate Conservatives Fund stated in an email to supporters that As a congressman, Matt Schultz will be a strong voice for reduced spending, repealing Obamacare, creating term limits, and balancing the budget.”

SCF Endorses Five House Candidates
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Today, the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) announced its support for the following five candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014 as part of its new House Conservatives Project:

  • Chad Mathis (R) — Alabama, 6th District
  • Barry Loudermilk (R) — Georgia, 11th District
  • Bryan Smith (R) — Idaho, 2nd District
  • Matt Schultz (R) — Iowa, 3rd District
  • Alex Mooney (R) — West Virginia, 2nd District

“These candidates believe deeply in our nation’s founding principles and will be strong voices for freedom in Washington,” said SCF Executive Director Matt Hoskins. “They are strong conservatives who will fight to balance the budget and repeal Obamacare.”

SCF launched a new website today where its grassroots members can donate to these five campaigns. SCF pays all processing fees so the candidates receive 100% of the funds contributed to their campaigns.
