(Des Moines, IA) Americans for Prosperity is ramping up pressure on Representative Bruce Braley to stand up for Iowans, not special interests. A new statewide ad reminds viewers of Braley’s support for reckless spending bills and opposition to tort reform, which are increasing unemployment and taxes.

 

“Bruce Braley has lost touch with the people who are suffering because of the big government policies he supports in Washington,” explained Mark Lucas, Iowa state director of Americans for Prosperity. “We hope our new television ad reminds him that wasteful spending and being cozy with trial lawyers has real consequences for his constituents.”

The ad is just the latest in Americans for Prosperity’s on-going effort to inform Iowans about Congressman Braley’s support for big government policies and put pressure on him to change course. AFP is also busy holding phone banks, door knocks and other grassroots events.
