Editor’s note: Starting this week on The Truth Network 99.3 FM you’ll hear a Caffeinated Thought of the Day from Brian Myers or Shane Vander Hart.  Today’s offering is from Brian Myers.  We’ll post them each weekday.

There are many today who suggest that the Bible has nothing to say about matters having to do with politics, and that religion has to be kept out of public life. We simply disagree. We believe our view of the world is developed through our understanding of scripture. And we reject the notion that religion can be kept out of public life even if we wanted it to be. Such subjects as marriage, abortion, euthanasia, capital punishment, and war, just to name a few examples, make this an impossible proposition. We unapologetically assert that our Christian faith is paramount in our thinking with respect to law, government, and public policy.

This is Brian Myers of Caffeinated Thoughts Radio with your Caffeinated Thought of the Day.

Remember you can listen to Caffeinated Thoughts Radio on air at 8:00a and 6:00p on Saturdays on KTIA 99.3 FM if you live in the Des Moines/Ames Metro area.  You can also listen online live here.  Also we are on iTunes!
