There are many today who suggest that the Bible has nothing to say about matters having to do with politics, and that religion has to be kept out of public life. We simply disagree. We believe our view of the world is developed through our understanding of scripture. And we reject the notion that religion can be kept out of public life even if we wanted it to be. Such subjects as marriage, abortion, euthanasia, capital punishment, and war, just to name a few examples, make this an impossible proposition. We unapologetically assert that our Christian faith is paramount in our thinking with respect to law, government, and public policy.
