Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers discussed state property rights with Utah State Representative Ken Ivory who is president of the American Lands Council. He shares why Iowans should be concerned that 50% of the land west of Colorado is controlled by the federal government.
Brian and Shane also talk with Mark McDougal, executive director of Ruth Harbor, about that ministry and a special event they have on May 9th. Ruth Harbor does vital work with mothers who choose life in the midst of a crisis pregnancy.
Plus the guys discuss how an interviewer moved President Obama along when he was giving long-winded answers. He was only in sixth grade! Also, a group of Valley High School students want the West Des Moines Community School Board to prevent Dowling Catholic High School from renting their facilities since they refused to hire an openly gay teacher. The guys discuss the implications if the students get their way.
