Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) late Wednesday afternoon announced his 2nd presidential campaign at Penn United Technologies in Cabot, PA.  Santorum entered the 2016 race for the White House joined by his wife Karen and six of their seven children.  He launched his campaign with a focus on working families, a message that he crafted since 2012.

Santorum is the seventh candidate to date to enter the race for the Republican presidential nomination joining U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-FL), U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.  The field is expected to be extremely crowded with several prospective candidates hinting at an announcement during the summer.

Santorum was the 2012 Iowa Caucus winner, runner-up in the GOP nomination process winning 11 states.
