the-truth-network-des-moines-studioCaffeinated Thoughts Radio is back!  Kinda.  We were able to get a new show recorded in the studio.  The station is moving its transistor to the new tower (which will allow the radio station’s signal to shift to the south) and unexpectedly we learned that the station will be offline today.  We wanted to go ahead and at least make sure the podcast of this show was online.

Our guest is Bruce Wykes who is the Ruth and Lovett C. Peters Fellow in Education with the Pioneer Institute joined us to discuss his new paper on the education of military connected children.  In his study he debunks some misconceptions about military connected children that were used to foist Common Core on the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).

Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers also discuss the Charleston Shooting, and President Obama’s unfortunate decision to politicize it.  Plus a new Gallup Poll indicates that Democrats are shifting to the left, who will be on the new $10 bill, and Donald Trump will not be getting an endorsement from the Club for Growth.  Also if transgenderism is ok, why not transracialism?

Remember you can listen on air at 8:00a and 6:00p on Saturdays on The Truth Network 99.3 FM if you live in the Des Moines Metro area (except today).  You can also listen online live here.  Also we are on iTunes!
