Political polls typically don’t make me laugh out loud, but a new poll from September, INC of voters in Arizona and Nevada did. Hard… In a public place…

Over 3/4 of Arizonans prefer an arrogant ass over an unrepentant criminal. It’s unclear who the arrogant ass is, but there is more clarity who the unrepentant criminal is.

They polled 518 likely voters in Arizona (MOE +/- 4.38%) and 516 likely voters in Nevada (MOE +/1 4.38%) some non-traditional (to say the least!) questions developed “from actual comments by regular, working Americans at bars, in taxis, and at sporting events and pizza joints across the country.”

They are (obviously) a Republican-leaning pollster. The Arizona poll had more Republicans than Democrats (34% to 30%) polled. In Nevada they polled more Democrats than Republicans (38% to 35%).

Granted, one poll, but one that looks very, very bad for Hillary Clinton. Some of the answers of the questions could actually apply to both candidates in my opinion though.

Here are the questions and results below:

Nevada:

  2. 75% – 21%
  3. 50% – 9%
  4. 24% – 14%
  5. 0% – 16%

And do you believe Hillary Clinton will say anything to get elected?

Arizona:

  1. Yes – 74%
  2. No – 26%

Nevada:

  1. Yes – 65%
  2. No – 35%

And do you believe Hillary Clinton has been honest even one time about her emails she kept on her private server while Secretary of State?

  1. Yes – 70%
  2. No – 30%

And do you believe Hillary Clinton is honest enough to be trusted with even the most minor elected office such as your local elementary school PTA president or the treasurer for a little league baseball club?

Arizona:

  1. Yes – 38%
  2. No – 62%

Nevada:

  1. Yes – 45%
  2. No – 55%

And finally, what do you believe Hillary Clinton would have to do for a majority of Hollywood actors and actresses to stop supporting her?

Arizona:

  1. Murder – 24%
  2. Robbing a bank – 5%
  3. Kidnapping the Puppies – 10%
  4. Killing the Puppies – 14%
  5. Nope, not even then – 48%

Nevada:

  1. Murder – 26%
  2. Robbing a bank – 4%
  3. Kidnapping the Puppies – 7%
  4. Killing the Puppies – 10%
  5. Nope, not even then – 53%

This poll was funny, but also sad when you consider what the two major parties have to offer. The sweet meteor of death looks very appealing. It may be a binary choice in terms of outcome, but individually it doesn’t have to be. Take time to consider all of the presidential candidates on your state’s ballot.
