You will be made to comply or face the consequences. It is amazing to me the amount of chutzpah that Reince Preibus has when it comes to former presidential candidates who have refused to endorse Donald Trump.
Sunday on Face the Nation on CBS Preibus threatened former Republican presidential candidates – U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Ohio Governor John Kasich and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush for their refusal to back Donald Trump’s candidacy.
People who agreed to support the nominee, that took part in our process, they used tools from the RNC. They agreed to support the nominee, they took part in our process.
We’re a private party. We’re not a public entity. Those people need to get on board. And if they’re thinking they’re going to run again someday, I think that we’re going to evaluate the process – of the nomination process and I don’t think it’s going to be that easy for them.
I don’t recall Bush or Kasich saying they would back Trump. Cruz did, but as far as I’m concerned that was rendered null and void when Trump attacked his family.
Perhpas Priebus and the Republican National Committee should disown President George H.W. Bush and President George W. Bush while they are at it since they aren’t backing Trump. What to do with U.S. Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE), U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Congressman Justin Amash (R-MI) among others?
Perhaps Kasich should just declare himself an independent? Is that what Priebus wants? Cruz could do the same.

Seriously Priebus doesn’t act this way toward candidates who violate the party platform and the principles we are supposed to hold dear, but he is going to hold people’s feet to the fire over not supporting Trump for some incredibly good reasons? It isn’t like all three are out there campaigning against the guy.
This is the unity that Priebus seeks?
Incredible. Another reason this clown needs to go as the RNC chair, as well as, any national committeeman and committeewoman who feels the same way. He just beclowned himself on national TV with those comments.
Our “big tent” can’t and shouldn’t be based on fidelity to Trump. If that is the case I was still holding onto my Republican registration, but that would be the final straw.
