This week on Caffeinated Thoughts Radio Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers discussed the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton moderated by NBC News’ Lester Holt. They discuss some of the key moments, what was learned and who they thought won the debate.

Next Dr. Robert Gagnon, who is speaking at the upcoming Caffeinated Thoughts Briefing, called in.  Dr Gagnon is an associate professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and has taught there since 1994. He is the author of The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics,  co-author (with Dan O. Via) of Homosexuality and the Bible: Two Views. They discussed what the New Testament had to say about sexual ethics, in particular, homosexuality and what the Church can do to address the encroaching LGBT agenda.

Plus, two Canadian Christian high schools are being told that they must allow gay-straight student alliance in their school. Then USA Today made its first endorsement, of sorts, in its history. Plus, what is going on with this clown hysteria? People are seeing clowns everywhere. Also the Supreme Court begins its new term minus one member.
