Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds’ held her first Harvest Festival fundraiser that included family fun, food, and a short program. The event held on Saturday night at the Elwell Center on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines attracted 700-800 supporters.

Below are the videos from the evening’s speakers. Lt. Governor Adam Gregg served as the emcee for the event.

Iowa GOP Chair Jeff Kaufmann was the first speaker Saturday evening.

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), a co-chair of the Reynolds-Gregg campaign, was the second speaker.

Congressman Steve KIng (R-Iowa) was the third speaker of the evening.

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) was the fourth speaker of the evening.

Missouri Governor Eric Greitens was the special guest for the evening.

Reynolds closed out the evening with her own remarks.

Reynolds currently faces two opponents for the Republican nomination – Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett and Boone Mayor Pro Tem Steven Ray.

I also live-tweeted the event Saturday night.

I responded to the Iowa GOP communications director Carlos Cruz s reaction to my tweet about Jeff Kaufmann during the event.

Governor Reynolds told me after the event that they hired the same person who did Greitens’ ad to produce her campaign ads. Whether there will be a machine gun featured in hers is yet to be seen.

I say go for it.
