At this point since Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation news that Christine Blasey Ford was partly motivated by her support of Roe v. Wade to come forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct should not surprise us.
Ryan Lovelace’s new book Search and Destroy: Inside the Campaign Against Brett Kavanaugh already reported this, but Debra Katz, Blasey Ford’s attorney, confirmed that in a video obtained by The Daily Caller.

In the aftermath of these hearings, I believe that Christine’s testimony brought about more good than the harm misogynist Republicans caused by allowing Kavanaugh on the Court. We were going to have a conservative, elections have consequences, but he will always have an asterisk next to his name. When he takes a scalpel to Roe v. Wade, we will know who he is, we know his character, and we know what motivates him, and that is important; it is important that we know, and that is part of what motivated Christine.
I’m curious had Kavanaugh been pro-abortion if she would make the same choice. I’m doubtful since no one was able to corroborate her story, including the witnesses she provided.
