The Associated Press called the Republican Iowa Caucus. President Donald Trump will win the Iowa Caucus in a vote that is for the most part symbolic even with two challengers. Former Illinois U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh and former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld have campaigned and were options Iowa Republicans could decide to caucus for instead of the incumbent president.

The Republican Party of Iowa reports with 100 percent of the counties reporting in here are the unofficial results:

  1. Donald J. Trump – 97.15 percent (31,398 votes)
  2. Bill Weld – 1.31 percent (423 votes)
  3. Joe Walsh – 1.08 percent (343 votes)

There are 151 votes for other individuals who have not declared their candidacy with 32,320 votes counted.
