image State Senator Kim Reynolds (R-Osceola), Bob Vander Plaats and State Representative Rod Roberts (R-Carroll) were nominated to be the Lt. Governor nominee from the floor.  Reynolds was Governor Terry Branstad’s pick.  Roberts took to the podium, endorsed the ticket and declined the nomination.  He told me later he was glad he was nominated as it gave him a chance to speak and endorse.
